Ramona Brooks Reese Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramona Brooks Reese of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Ray and Mary Armstrong Brooks; her husband John William Reese; her grandson Jonathan Harrison; her sister Martine; her brother-in-law Bill Simpkins; and her brothers, Olin Jr. (Joan Brooks), Robert (Pat Brooks) and Paul Brooks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Harrison (David) of Stone Mountain and Mona Hall (Danny) of Calhoun; her granddaughters, Lisa Showalter (Jeff) of Milton and Laura Hall of Calhoun; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Benjamin, Claire and John Daniel Showalter; her sister-in-law Kay Brooks; and her caregiver Denise Stansell.
