She was predeceased by: her parents, George Manning and Vida Boyette Manning; her husband Gerald Short; and her son Randy Short. She is survived by: her son Allen; her daughter-in-law Deborah Short of Oklahoma; and her daughters, Deborah Short of Cohutta, GA, Shelley (Anthony Ogles) and Liz Caballero of California. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
