She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jack Johnson and Bessie Jones Johnson; her husband Daryll Payne; her fiancé Bedford Woodard; and her brother Robert Johnson, Sr..
She is survived by: her sister Cynthia Johnson; her nephew Bobby Johnson (Minnie); and her close friends, Jean Pritchett and Linda Corn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
