She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Buttrum and Addie Mae Buttrum; her husband Rev. Alfred Patterson; her daughter Brenda Lou Patterson; and her siblings, Otis Buttrum, Raymond Buttrum and Virginia Chastain.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Patterson (Beverly Minter) and Joyce Phillips; her grandchildren, Laura Darnell (Brent), Wayne Patterson (Lori), Chad Phillips (Jessica), Daniel Patterson, Sarah Hill (Tyler), Wesley Patterson (Katelynn Claunch), Tyleigh Minter and Caleb Minter; her great grandchildren, Bryanna Darnell (Joey Ulibarri), Olivia Hill, Brantley Phillips and Bogan Phillips; and her son Bro. Mitchell Patterson (Judy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home (711 College St, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
