She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Edwin Ferguson and Linda Towers Ferguson; and her brother Heath. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Gazaway; her sons, Wes Gazaway (Rachel), Justin Gazaway (Grace) and Jordan Gazaway (Celeste); her brother Keith (Teresa); her grandchildren, Lilli Gazaway, Larissa Gazaway, Lyla Gazaway, Summer Mathews, Tyler Mathews, Emma Gazaway, Abigail Gazaway, James Gazaway and Elijah Gazaway; and her great grandchild Beckett Gazaway. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sugar Valley Baptist Church (3742 Sugar Valley Rd NW, Sugar Valley, GA 30746). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
