She was predeceased by: her father Leon Ray; her husband James Ellis; and her siblings, Larry Hyde, Lamar Hyde and Brenda Johnson.
She is survived by: her mother Helen Hyde Roberts; her children, Shannon Ellis, Jessie Walters (Winston) and Eric Ellis; her grandchildren, Ashton, Aiden Ellis, Jase and Ellie Walters; and her siblings, Teresa Barber, Lillie Parker, Scotty Ray and Jerry Ray. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
