He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Parris and Lucille Parris; and his brothers, David Parris and Marvin Parris. He is survived by: his wife Diane Parris; his sons, Jordan Steely (Emma), Cody Blankenship and Barry Blankenship; his siblings, Cecil Dockery (Melonie), James Dockery, William Dockery (Carol), Bobby Parris (Rita), Donald Parris, Sybil Dockery, Joyce Parris (Kirt Mixon) and Jo McCain (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Cayden Blankenship and Josiah McNabb.
