It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Daniel Parris of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Parris and Lucille Parris; and his brothers, David Parris and Marvin Parris. He is survived by: his wife Diane Parris; his sons, Jordan Steely (Emma), Cody Blankenship and Barry Blankenship; his siblings, Cecil Dockery (Melonie), James Dockery, William Dockery (Carol), Bobby Parris (Rita), Donald Parris, Sybil Dockery, Joyce Parris (Kirt Mixon) and Jo McCain (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Cayden Blankenship and Josiah McNabb.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home (705 Old Red Bud Rd, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home (705 Old Red Bud Rd, Calhoun, GA 30701).
