It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sulynn Bates of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Lutz and Glenda Lutz; her son Harry Bates; and her brother John Bennett. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheri (Brian Sheldon) and Terri McWhorter (Brian Lyles); her sister Charlotte; her brother-in-law Ray Steinert; and her grandchildren, Julie Sheldon, Jackson Sheldon, Allyssa Lyles, Aliza Lyles and Blade Lyles.
