He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon E. Grinnell, Sr. and Bernice Frances Barzen Grinnell; his wife Patricia Dorothy Griffith Grinnell; his brother John A. Grinnell; and his brother-in-law Bill Griffith.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Catherine Pizzarello (Tom) of Lexington, Sandra Alison Grinnell of Greenville, Scott Vernon Grinnell (Amber) of Crestview and Shara Ann Hamilton (Larry) of Calhoun, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Chase Grinnell, Trisha Hemenway, Amanda Hamilton and Hunter Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Maira and Mia Hemenway.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (829 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701).
