He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Patterson and Geneva Thompson Patterson; his brother Hollis Patterson (Patricia); and his nephew Russell Patterson. He is survived by: his sister Imogene Patterson; his nieces, Rachel McNeese (Jeff) and Regina Harrison (Thomas); his nephew Randy Patterson (Tracy); and his great-nephews, Tray Patterson, Hunter McNeese (Anna) and Cody McNeese (Rae).
