He is survived by: his children, Steve Bailey (Karen), Keith Bailey (Kerry), Terry Bailey (Jessica), Teresa Najera (Rogelio) and Holly Bailey; his daughter-in-law PJ Bailey; his sister Ethel Knight (Jerry); his grandchildren, Leon, Gary, Kevin, Flora, Jeremy, Cameron, Jayven, Andrea, Ariel, Terrance, Nicholas, Jazzell, Kali, Kelita, Maleah, Shealin, Caleb, James Jr., Skylar, Dakota, Ethan, Katie, Kayla, Kelsie and Christina; and his nephews, Michael Knight and Johnny Knight. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home (711 College St, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
