We bid farewell to Essie Faye Cox of Camilla, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 22, 2025 at the age of 84. Essie Faye touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lamar Poitevint and Madelle Wisham Poitevint; and her husband Patrick Johnny "Pete" Cox. She is survived by: her children, Donna Ingram of Albany, Clifford Ingram of Thomasville, James Ingram of Ocilla and Amanda Cox of Wyoming; her stepson Len Cox of Bremen; and her siblings, Marilyn Turner of Warner Robins, Sybil Edwards of Moultrie, Duane Poitevint of Cairo and Kenneth Poitevint of Moultrie. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pinecliff Baptist Church (8193 Pinecliff Rd, Camilla, GA 31730).
