It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Adams Jr. (Camilla, Georgia), who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee Adams, Sr. and Ruth Borland Adams. He is survived by: his grandchildren, James David Davis (Jelly), Susan Grace Davis Whitehead (Spencer), John Daniel Davis, Elizabeth Anne Glass, Mark Alan Glass, Jr. (Abby), David Martin Glass (Taylor) and Hannah Marie Glass; his wife Barbara Ford Lapham of Camilla; his stepchildren, Susie Collins (Kyle) and Jimmy Lapham (Tara); his stepgrandchildren, Caleb, Logan Collins, Brianna, Kacie and Brayden Lapham; his sister Nan Borland Adams Williamson (Eddie); and his siblings-in-law, Earl Ford, Jr. (Patsy), Guy Martin, Jr. (Lynne), Betsy Perpall and Vicki Holton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home (410 E Broad St, Camilla, GA 31730). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Camilla United Methodist Church (39 S Harney St, Camilla, GA 31730).
