He is survived by: his wife Betty Saxon; his children, Bridgett Jones (Duane) of Columbia, Jonya Saxon of Midland, Georgia and Johnny Saxon, Jr. (Kelley) of Valdosta, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Jaquari Saxon, Darius Jones, Brydell Jones, Adrian Jones and Kasen Saxon; his siblings, Annie Lee, Hazel Jackson (Willie), Linda Saxon of Camilla, Georgia, Willie Saxon (Betty) of Youngstown, Ronnie Saxon (Lillie) and Stanley Saxon (Willie Ester) of Camilla, Georgia.; and his siblings-in-law, Ernest Carter (Robin) of Reading, Pennsylvania, Laverne Hampton Saxon of Ashburn and Odessa Carter Morman (Clark) of Hinesville, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Robert Jester Mortuary (107 Lincoln St, Camilla, GA 31730). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (8825 River Rd, Camilla, GA 31730). A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (8825 River Rd, Camilla, GA 31730).
