She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis "Po Boy" Means and Doris Means; her stepdaughter Ranada Jones; and her brothers, Vincent Means (Debra), Robert Means (Barbara), Wayne Means (Sebrina) and Lewis Moore.
She is survived by: her husband James McGhee; her children, Charles McGhee (Zandra) and Anna Alexander; her stepson James Jones; and her sisters, Martha Means, Dorothy Means, Mary Dunbar, Patricia Moore, Ara Bell Latney, LaVerna Hawkins (Odell), Emma Wright, Diana Mathis and Carolyn Lee (Perry).
