He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ott and Mildred Elrod Ott. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Ott of Camilla; his daughters, Tammy Moon (Dexter) of Newton, Belinda Frazier of Leesburg and Melissa Paul (Danny) of Leesburg; his siblings, Jimmy Ott, Terry Ott, Linda Barrs and Gail Anderson; his grandchildren, Austin Moon, Katie Lee, Meredith Frazier, Abby Frazier, Gavin Paul and Lauren Elizabeth Paul; and his great grandchild Luca Moon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
