It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Singletary of Camilla, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Shirley has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alton and Evelyn; her husband Charles Warren Singletary; her brother Duane Hayes; her daughter Haley Clark (Matthew) of Carrollton, VA; her grandchildren, Ashlei, Sarah and Grant Clark; and her brothers, Richard Hayes and Scott Hayes. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, former colleagues and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Pine Cliff Baptist Church in Camilla GA or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
