Pate; her aunts and uncles, Beverly Ann Sheffield (Bennie), Annie Mae Bush (Clifford), Gennie Douglas Rogers (Johnny), Estella Douglas, Anne Jest (Lyndon), Earl Douglas (Lynn), Fred Douglas, Carvin Douglas and Lamar Bush; her siblings' children, Lanashia Douglas, Akeria M. Douglas and Malik Pate; and her close friend Walter Burden. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
