He was predeceased by: his father Brooks Dean Barnes Sr.; his sister Renee Bryant; and his stepfather Miller Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Louise Scott Barnes; his daughters, Kerri Harris (David) of Canon and Brooke Archie (Brad) of New Brockton, AL; his brother Barry Bryant; and his grandchildren, JJ Williams, Ashlyn Miller, Jaxson Harris and Brantley Archie.
