He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shelton Vickery and Shirley Shaw Vickery. He is survived by: his wife Rita Maxwell Vickery; his children, Justin Vickery (Haley) of Athens, Amanda Brown (Kyle) of Hartwell and Ally Vickery (Jaden Gillespie) of Hartwell; and his grandchild Kyson Brown.
