It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamar Allen of Canon, Georgia, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Allen and Marjorie Carter Allen; and his brothers, Rev. Bobby Joe Allen and David Allen. He is survived by: his wife Susan Beebe Allen; his children, Darren (Lisa Allen), Wesley (Buffy Allen) and Renee; his son-in-law Doyle Smith; his grandchildren, Tyler, Maranda Allen, Eric, Savannah Allen, Brad, Taylor Allen, Sydney, Zach Haygood and Elizabeth Smith; his great grandchildren, Sophie Allen and Haleigh Allen; and his siblings, Patricia Allen Dobbs, Joyce Allen Bragg, Rev. Gettis Allen, Rev. Rodney Allen, Douglas Allen and Edward Allen.
