He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boyd M. Stamey and Bessie Smathers Stamey; his wife Maxine Burnette Stamey; his daughters, Nancy Eubanks (Bill) and Tanya Phillips (Kenny); his grandsons, Carey Westgate (April) and Will Eubanks; and his great grandchild Hollis Westgate.
