He is survived by: his wife Gwen Cantrell; his sons, Donny Cantrell (Misty), Daniel Cantrell (Amanda), Brett Ray (Amber) and Eric Ray (Courtney); his grandchildren, Cody Cantrell, Brandi Cantrell, Isaac Ray, Dawson Ray, Reagan Ray, Tiffany Cantrell and Rachel Cantrell; and his siblings, Carrie Edwards, Betty Stancil, Retha Reddin, Jerry Cantrell, Max Cantrell and Ricky Cantrell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
