She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Martin and Maude Martin; and her sons, Kenny Mize and Mike Mize. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Mize; her son Jeff; her daughters-in-law, DeAnna Mize and Sherry Mize; and her grandchildren, Matthew Mize (Ashley), Joseph Mize (McKay), Malachi Mize (Glenda), Benjamin Mize (Kristin), Nethanel Mize (Rebecca), Titus Mize (Meli Sandra), Justus Mize (Courtney), Charity Crisp (Harrison), Gracie Smith (Shawn), Daniel Mize and Eli Mize. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
