He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Shirley and Julie Stringer (Blake); his son-in-law Joel Pharr; his grandchildren, Koaden Pharr, Kaitlyn Pharr, Caleb Pharr and Shawn Stringer; his close friend Cornelia Weaver; his daughter Margaret Roland; and his siblings, Lester Shirley, Bobby Shirley, Louise Smith, Amos Shirley, Linda Knowles, Geneva Waters, Annette Weaver and Buddy Shirley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
