He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmers H. Tilley, Sr. and Marion O'Neill Tilley; his wife JoAnn Urffer Tilley; and his brother Doug Tilley. He is survived by: his children, David Tilley (Jacqueline), Debra Tilley Hamilton and Kim Tilley Balfe (Michael); his grandchildren, Lauren Thacker (Charles), Steven Tilley (Bethanie), Brooke Pittet (Tom), Morgan Everard (Matt), Nick Balfe (Kelsey) and Sean Balfe; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Harrison Thacker, Audrey Tilley, Will, Wes Pittet, Madeline, McKenna Everard and Graham Balfe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
