He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Joseph Engle. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Jordan; his children, Charles Courtney Jr. (Pam), Shayne Engle, Jeanine Krenz (Robert) and Susan Maxon (Michael); his grandchildren, Sean (Rebecca), Allison, Chris (Meghan), Rebecca (Rick), Robert (Lindsey), Robin (Ben), Jordan (Chris), Brent (Clare) and Corey (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Nora, Grace Ann, Adalynn, Lincoln, Stella, Tatum, Maxwell, Brody, Chip, Jamie, Cameron, Peyton, Harrison and Wyatt.
The military honors will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
