He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Pettey Merrell and Robbie A. Merrell; and his brother Robbie A. "Bob" Merrell. He is survived by: his wife Linda F. Merrell; and his sons, Charles Scott Merrell (Darlene) and Christopher Shannon Merrell (Lisa). He is also survived by four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114).
