We announce the death of Doris Ellis of Canton, Georgia, who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Abernathy and Kate Abernathy. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Floyd Ellis; her children, Nolan Ellis (Sandra), Donna Lynn DeLeon (Efrain), Jeff Ellis and Teresa Byrne (James); and her grandchildren, Brittany Gossett, Nikki Payne, Stacy Payne, Michael McClure, Natasha Ayon, Matthew Ellis, Hannah Lilly, Victoria Ellis, Dyllon Moody and Siarha Moody. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
