With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Nelson of Canton, Georgia, who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Earl Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Nelson and Nancy Nelson; his siblings, Billy Nelson and Helen Nelson; and his son David Earl Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Ola Nelson; his children, Darlene Fortner (William), Vickie Ghorley (Dean), Ricky Nelson (Helen), Patti Nations (Mark), Mickey Nelson (Terri) and Kristie Nelson Eubanks; and his sister Alene Padgett (Max). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Due to COVID-19 facial coverings are required, no food is permitted and Chapel seating is limited to 50 people.

Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
