She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Whitten and Alice Whitten; her husband Bobby Parmer; and her siblings, Betty Mathis and John Whitten.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Thompson (Evelyn), Billy Thompson and Faye Morgan; her sister Linda Martin (Billy); and her sister-in-law Martha Whitten. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; as well as other family and friends.
