It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Stokes (Canton, Georgia), born in Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Louise Stokes; and his grandson James Stokes. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Stokes (Meshell), Steve Stokes, Donna Stokes (Mark) and Scott Stokes (Julie); his grandchildren, Diane Stokes, Judy Bright, Travis Weaver, Caroline Gipson, Mary Gipson, John Floyd Stokes and Jessica Chumley; his great grandchildren, Jade Stokes, Jaycee Beck, Sabrina Duckett, Beverly Mumper, Cameron Bright, Kaden Brown, Carter Byar, Oakley Byar and Karli; and his siblings, Vera Ingle, Juanita Millsap, James Stokes and Louise Griswald. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
