She was predeceased by: her parents, Lura-Mae Mitchell and Aaron Mitchell; and her brother Tony Mitchell (James Earl Brunson-Biological). She is survived by: her son James Matthew Brunson; her husband Dennis Brown; her stepsons, Josh Brown and Benjamin Brown; her sister Peggy Cothran; and her grandchildren, Brenly Brown, Julia Brown and River Brunson.
