It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garlon Hunt (Canton, Georgia), born in Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Bloodworth Hunt and William Garlon Hunt; and his brothers, Lamar Hunt and Richard Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Hunt; his siblings, Stan Hunt (Martha), Mike Hunt (Judy) and Jackie Causey; his sons, Marc Hunt (Martha) and Raleigh King (Van); his grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon (Brandy), Tyler (Becca), Sara (Charles), Hunter (Freddy), Nick and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Braydon, Cash, Colson, Ellie, Parker and Cadyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
