He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Francis Shane and Bernice E. Shane (Nelson); his wife Michaele Wilson "Mike" Shane; and his sisters, Mary Jean Kiktus and Sharon Williamschen.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Pendleton (Chuck) of Canton, John Shane of Canton and Jim Shane of Lawrenceville; and his grandson Nicholas Pendleton (Alana) of Dunwoody.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
