George McLain Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of George McLain of Canton, Georgia is shared. George, born on October 6, 1944, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel A. McLain and Jewell McMath McLain; and his sons, George Ed McLain and Wesley A McLain. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A "Pat" McLain; his daughter Bonnie; his children-in-law, David Lelak and Aly McLain; and his grandchildren, Steven McLain, Tia Foster, Erin Strunk, Andrew Barnes, Nicholas McLain, Daniel Lelak, Breana Lelak, Hannah McLain and Haley McLain. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel.
