It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen M. Hoffbeck (Canton, Georgia), born in Lime Springs, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shea and Viola Shea (Schmidt); her husband Loren John Hoffbeck; and her brothers, Paul Shea and Tom Shea.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Dubnicka (Tom) of Palatine, IL, Mark Hoffbeck (Sharon) of Macomb, IL, Joe Hoffbeck (Larina) of Portland, OR, Amy Reynolds (Brad) of Roswell, GA and Susan Takacs (Joe) of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Emily Dubnicka, Michael Hoffbeck (Ashley), Laura Dubnicka, Maureen Heitmeier (Cale), Annie Dubnicka, Carmen Hoffbeck, Nathan Hoffbeck, Katie Maday (Erik), Mallory Hoffbeck, George Takacs, Megan Reynolds, Charlie Reynolds and Henry Takacs; and her sister Anne Salter. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
