He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Thompson and Dennis Thompson; his siblings, Leroy Ryder, David Thompson, Edward Thompson, Doris Mask, Rosanel Beck, Edna Jones, Dixie Snow, William Henry Thompson, Fred Thompson, Lucille Allred and Harold Thompson; and his daughters, Elizabeth Thompson and Melissa Thompson Thomas Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Chandler Thompson; his sister Hazel Casey (late Henry); and his children, June Underwood (late Stanley), Pamela Shepard (Mike), Homer Thompson, Jr. and Trinity Ashworth (Christopher). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews.
