He is survived by: his uncle Jake (Jake); his children, Tania Allen, Marsha Freeman, Sandra Thomas (John), Tamara Stephens, Portia Gay, Michael Wayne Stephens, Kathy Stephens, Yolanda Franklin (Emmanuel), Raven Chapmen and BoBo Strozier; his brother Johnny Joe Stephens; his sister-in-law Penny Smith; and his friend Gertrude "Pete" Turner. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many beloved friends.
