Jan leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jan’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jan will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Martin Rachels. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jason Rachels (Jennifer), Kim Merritt (Todd) and Karen Pearson (Brent). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snow's Memorial Chapel (1419 Bass Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
