He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Byess; his children, Michelle Holcomb (Wyatt), Michael Byess (Amy) and Josh Byess; his grandchildren, Emma Holcomb, Elise Holcomb, Levi Byess, Ellie Holcomb, Blake Byess, Rance Dampier, Isabella Byess and Anna Byess; and his siblings, Steve Byess (Betty), Danny Byess (Shirley), David Byess (Beth) and Janice McClure (Bobby). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
