He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lockhart; his siblings, Connie Brasill, Bobby Lockhart and Eddie Lockhart; and his nephews, Jeff and Mark.

He is survived by: his siblings, Sam Lockhart and Deanna Kirby; his nieces and nephews, Sheryl Haney, Donna Brasill, Kim Cornette, Debra Rakestraw, Cindy Lockhart, Audie Lockhart and Robert Brasill; and his close friends, Barbara Chambers and Terrell Holland.
