It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alexander Shook (Canton, Georgia), born in Heaton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Y. Shook and Anne Elizabeth Shook (Smith); his wife Bobbie Carole; his children, Mike and Elizabeth; and his grandchildren, Adam, Ashley Schindler, Jennifer and John Shook.
