John Winslow Brooks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Winslow Brooks of Canton, Georgia, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winslow Brooks and Marie Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Kyle Brooks; his children, Patrick Crawford, Tracie Reynolds and Jennifer Brooks; and his siblings, Jerry (Roxanne Brooks) and Carol Benson. He is also survived by son Grandchildren - 5, Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A burial will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
The family is accepting flowers or donations are to be made to the Marine Corp Scholarship Fund (mcfs.org) or the Tunnell to Tower Foundation (T2T.org).
