John Richard Tackett Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2022, at the age of 84, John Richard Tackett of Canton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Tackett; and his son Joseph Tackett. He is survived by: his children, John R. Tackett, Jr., Judy Dawson and Janet Schnell; his grandchildren, Chris Dawson, Danielle Simione, Matthew Hubbard and Jason Tackett; and his siblings, Delores Dobbs, Virginia Bond, George Tackett, Thelma Hale, Louise Glessner, Pete Tackett, Ray Tackett and Gayle Tackett. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
