It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Melvin Smith of Canton, Georgia, born in Pikeville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Smith and Flora Smith; and his children, Ralph and Katie. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; and his children, Char, Sandy, John (Kim), Daniel (Lora) and Patrick (Trena). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
