He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hitt and Louise Chester; his siblings, James Hitt, Wanda Gail Raysick and Brenda Burson; and his nephew Robert Raysick.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy McPherson (David Bolton) and Jonathan Hitt (Breanna Seyler); his grandchildren, Andrew McPherson, Jacqueline McPherson, Johnathan Hitt, Jayda Hitt, Brayden Seyler and Jaylynn Hitt; his sister Betty Grady (James); his girlfriend Debra Hitt; and his daughter Jessica Putnam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
