“Rodney, Kenny, and I got in trouble with Joyce once when she sent us to gather her tomatoes and we got to throwing them at each other. But we didn't stay in trouble for long. I think she thought it was funny. Andrea and Amy were always the little sisters that I never had. God bless you all during this time and help you with sweet memories of your dear parents.”

“Ricky and I would like to say that we remember all the good meetings and singings we had with Joyce and Kenneth. I grew up with all the kids in that family and called Joyce "Mama Joyce" all my life. When I became a deacon's wife, it was Joyce that I went to for advice on how to make bread, launder the linens, and all the other important things I needed to know. I love all of her children. Debbie and I were very close growing up. I rode Thomas on the handle bars of my bike.”

"The biggest thing we can share is when Buddy got a feeling to go over to Kenneth and Joyce's house one night during Liberty's revival. That's the night Kenny (their son) was saved. Joyce knocked everything off the walls when he came up! We still think about that night."”
