He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason David Adkison and Katherine Matilda Mathis Adkison; his wife Alma Burnell Adkison; his siblings, Irene McDonald, Leroy Adkison, Clyde Adkison and Anette Commander; his son Joseph Bryan Adkison; and his granddaughter Heather Marie Adkison.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Jones, Sheila DeLashmutt (Charles) and Marlin Adkison (Joanne); and his daughter-in-law Debra Adkison. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
