He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette McCurry and Lucille McCurry; his brother Roy McCurry; his brother-in-law Jerry Nix; his father-in-law Bobby Townsend; and his brothers-in-law, Coon and Rowdy Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Debo McCurry; his sister Pam Nix; his mother-in-law Becky Townsend; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Townsend (Kim) and Dottie Townsend. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, special friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
